Happy Birthday Hannah Faith

We welcomed a little sister into our family nine years ago today. 

A plump and pink 8lbs and 6ozs and she's gained all of 36 pounds in those nine years. 

She grabbed a piece of our heart from the beginning and hasn't let go. 

She's all you could ever imagine.

Hannah, you've taught your mommy so much about life. 

You're everything that I am not, and I love you for that. 

You make me a better person and you give me a different perspective.

God has big plans for you, sweet girl. 

Big plans.

I love you all the way around the world a gazillion times.

This girl wears an 8.5 size shoe and is the same height as her mommy.

This girl can take on any boy on the basketball court and send them home crying.

This girl loves to crank up the Christian tunes and make up incredible dances.

This girl studies hard and makes straight A's.

This girl misses her old friends and has opened her heart to accepting some new precious friends in San Antonio.

This girl thanks her parents everyday for the smallest of things.

This girl has the most incredible manners and is one of the most polite children that you will ever meet.

This girl loves Jesus with all of her heart and isn't afraid to tell you so.

This girl has compassion for every living thing and walked into my bathroom Sunday morning with huge alligator tears because she found her fish floating in his bowl.

A tight, long, hug and $3.49 later, Bubbles joined us and her heart was restored.

RIP Tebow.

Five of my most favorite people in this world ran in races this weekend.  The kiddos did a 1 mile fun run on Saturday and the men did a 1/2 marathon on Sunday.  A little chilly, but a ton of fun!  So proud of all of you.

CHAMPS

There are 12 teams in our 10u age division and only 2 of those teams are comprised of all girls. 

Our precious HOOPSTERS won the division tournament and sent 3 boys' teams home crying yesterday. 

Way to go girls! 

You've never seen a sweeter group of beautiful Godly girls.

Fallness

I need the world to stop for a few days and allow me to catch up.  Three or four days would do the trick.  Life is crazy busy and crazy fun around here, and we love it like that!  I've taken time out for myself this week to catch my breath and to share some fun from my favorite season of the year.  Here's to football, flag football, basketball, pumpkins, trick-or-treating, and those that make me proud.  Nice to see you, November.
